The g1 ioniX is a lightweight two-person, three-pole semi-geodesic tent with an extra pole for a larger porch area (but not the full extended porch featured on our XT models). It is ideal for camping and travels around the world, and having a higher-cut fly and large mesh panels on the inner, is optimised for warmer climates. (You might find it cool in more wintry conditions). Although the flysheet is sufficiently water-resistant for four-season use, its high-cut baseline means the inner is more vulnerable to splashing in hard rainfall. The g1 ioniX is very light and easy to pitch, but being the smallest two-person tent in the Lightwave range, some people may prefer the larger g20 ioniX.
