The g1 ultra is an exceptionally lightweight and compact two-person, three-pole semi-geodesic tent that is ideal for long backpacking trips where the weight of every item has to be kept to a minimum. Its free-standing inner and small footprint make it easy to position and pitch in the most awkward camping sites, making it ideal for travelling or trekking in rocky regions. Although the g1 is the smallest of the Lightwave two-person tents, it still has a generous vestibule, but it may not suit larger people who should click here for the larger g2 ultra. At a complete weight of 2.1 kg, the g1 ultra is probably the lightest tent of its type without compromising its durability or genuine four-season performance.
