The g2 trek xt is a large two-person, three-pole semi-geodesic tent with an extended vestibule. Its combination of stability, space and ability to withstand the elements makes it a popular choice for long camping trips – in fact it is our biggest-selling tent in Europe. The penalty for its internal volume and geodesic shape is its weight (at 3.2 kg, it is our heaviest two-person tent – even if it can actually sleep three) but even this is still manageable in a good load-carrying rucksack.
