The g30 trek xt is a large three-person, three-pole semi-geodesic tent with an extended vestibule. Its combination of stability, space and ability to withstand the elements makes it a popular choice for long camping trips (its predecessor, the g2 trek xt, was our biggest-selling tent in Europe). The penalty for its internal volume and geodesic shape is its weight - at 3.35 kg, it is our heaviest tent - but even this is still manageable in a good load-carrying rucksack. Its large vestibule has plenty of space for two bicycles (laid down, with front wheel removed) and for safe cooking inside during bad weather.
