2-person tents
In terms of floor area and porch space, the g1 is the smallest two-person tent in the Lightwave range, offering about 10% less internal volume than our t1 tunnel, for example. On the other hand, its compact size, low weight and minimal need for pegging points make it an excellent tent for lightweight trekking in the mountains, where its tiny footprint means that it can be pitched just about anywhere. Whilst it is not available in an extended vestibule "xt" version, there is a larger porch option available in the ion specification as the g1 ioniX. For longer stays and base camp use, however, we’d always recommend the g2 for its more generous living and storage space.
