The t2 is a very spacious two person tent for users who require a larger tent than the t1 model. In terms of features and design it’s identical to a t1, just proportionately larger all round. In fact it’s also an excellent choice for three people looking to travel as light as possible.

There are a lot of reasons to choose a slightly larger tent than absolutely necessary: it’s great to have a bit of extra room to spread out in really hot weather or space to put on bulky clothes in a Scandanavian winter. Alternatively you may be taller and/or wider than the average person in which case you might find a compact two man tent too small. The extended “xt” porch t2's also make fantastic lightweight base and cycle touring tents.
