3-person tents
Our existing three-pole t3 tunnel has now been joined by the two-pole t30 and the new semi-geodesic g30.
The t3 is the biggest tent in the Lightwave range and employs a third pole in the inner tent to support the correspondingly larger volume of fabric used. The t3 is only available with an extended front vestibule for cooking and storage. It also offers a handy storage area at the rear, which gives extra room for those with their heads at the back when top-and-tailing (especially when sleeping three or four in the tent). The t3 also makes an excellent central base camp tent for small groups on lightweight trips, as it can accommodate up to 6 people in bad weather.
Also designed for 3 people, the t30 is slightly smaller overall than the exceptionally roomy t3 and is consequently lighter in weight.
The g30 is a completely new model and represents our response to frequent requests for a 3-person semi-geodesic in the Lightwave range.
