The three-person t30 is an excellent choice for three people looking to travel as light as possible. In terms of features and design, it is identical to a t20 – just proportionately larger all round.

The t30 is also an ideal solution for two users who require a larger tent than the standard two-person t20 model. There are a lot of reasons to choose a slightly larger tent than absolutely necessary: it’s great to have a bit of extra room to spread out in hot weather or space to put on bulky clothes in a Scandinavian winter. Alternatively you may be taller and/or wider than the average person in which case you might find a two-person tent too small. The t30 xt with its extended porch makes an excellent lightweight base camp and/or cycle touring tent.
